Deep Root Fertilization, Insect & Disease Management
Deep Root Fertilization
Nourishment is the key to vitality. Your trees and plants thrive when provided the right nutrients and minerals to promote growth and stay vibrant.
Interestingly enough, trees are usually self-sufficient when it comes to fertilization. It’s their own leaves that fall to the ground and decompose back into the soil which act as a fertilizer.
What do we tend to do in our yards?
Rake leaves up in the Fall and kick them to the curb! We’re removing organic fertilizer from going back into their root system! But who wants laves all over their property? No one, it’s understandable.
Which is all the reason why deep root fertilization is important to the health of your trees.
Healthy soil provides a root system with the nourishment and hydration a tree needs to flourish. Healthy soil is comprised of an optimal balanced mix of nutrients and oxygen for the roots to absorb. This is where deep root fertilization gives them an advantage by administering a top-quality customized, pro-microbial nutrient solution into its root system. The solution is administered via a pressurized injection in and around the root zone approximately a foot below grade, dually supplying nutrients and aerating the soil to increase oxygen flow.
Our solutions are custom mixes meticulously blended by our experts and are recommended to take place 1-2 times per year. Each case is unique, therefore dependent on your particular situation an arborist may recommended a modified blend or additional supplements to promote vitality.

Insect & Disease Management
Pests aren’t just a nemesis inside our homes, they can be a nuisance and cause destruction in your yard while also introduce diseases. We can eliminate a problem, but are big believers in prevention, with an emphasis on natural methods.
Trees tend to be a great host for insects and diseases, if the right tree, species and environment are present. While not all pests and disease are damaging, those that are if not contained can lead to major health concerns for it and possibly vegetation around it.
Just as we prefer not to remove a plant from its environment if not necessary, we take the same approach when it comes to treating insects and disease. If not severe or damaging threat to its or your health, it's best to stay out of nature’s way and let its course run. And when possible, implement treatment that is natural and with low impact to the natural environment.
Our experienced arborists know the difference between a health threatening insect like an Emerald Ash Borer or pathogen such as an Oak Wilt that needs to be managed to prevent further damage versus a Lacebug or Oak Leaf Blister that are hardly a threat and will disappear after a season.
Leave it to our professionals to design the proper program for your situation. Or better yet, identify the specimens as a non-issue and provide peace of mind.
